The Story
My journey into woodworking began early in life. I would dream up projects in my parents' garage and then spend hours trying to make them a reality. It was through numerous trials and errors I learned value of patience and achieving goals.  As a young man, one of my seminal projects was a summer spent renovating our basement with my grandfather. Through the various tasks, from cutting molding to scribing joints I gained an appreciation for precision and attention to detail.  He also taught me the value a good day’s labor and taking pride in my work

Fast-forward many years and I continue to apply these early lessons with every piece that I create. Today transforming an idea into tangible, usable piece of art is the driving mission of my work.  When I develop an idea I spend much time churning through various approaches and methods to complete the vision.  Sometimes the project won't reach my workshop for months but when it does it is truly satisfying.  I find great happiness in this creative process and sharing my talents.

Some of the proceeds from my projects support local Charlotte charities.  This is my way to give back.  Contact me if you would like to work on a project or have a custom wood working need.
